Over 60% of the people in prison are serving life or so many years that they are going to die in prison. I have done several years in prison. It is just a revolving door. Saw people that it was their 8th time. You didn't learn the first 7 times. Prison is full of murders and sex offenders, even if you brought back parole they are not going to let them out. So that would not fix the system. The courts are just going to keep giving the repeat offenders a slap on the wrist until they really mess up. There is no prison space.
