How will we present the name change to History loving tourists? Tristan De Luna sailed through the Gulf of America to get here? A place that did not exist yet? Following the dictates of a convicted felon and convicted fraudster and a governor no one can stand will make Escambia County look foolish and weak.

For those afraid that the government won’t be able to care for you in a disaster: prepare to care for yourself now. Why are you waiting? We begin to stock water, paper towels, and gasoline in early spring. Lors of canned goods and propane for the grill. We have several tarps, furring strips, and fasteners put away, and large sheets of visquene in case a window is broken. I also have a generator and chain saws. All of this would be expensive if done all at once, but come on – Hurricane Season comes to the Gulf of America coastline every year! Man up guys, and take care of yourself!

What’s the county’s plan if we get a major hurricane and no FEMA?

Where are we storing the 100k blue tarps to hand out? MRE’s, water?

Plan to replace the hundreds of experienced, quality roofers we’ll need but who get picked up when they come here to work?

In fact roof repair waiting lists will be so long we’ll need another 100k to replace worn out tarps

But yeah, get that sign changed (that we’ll soon take down in embarrassment.)

This is a big waist of money. It is the Gulf of Mexico! Stop trying to case problems and act like you bought the Gulf. Again stop the crazy train as I am sitting and watching our country not making any progress and getting ready to implode. Our debit has risen because of the waist of both party’s.. Legal bills crazy money spent buy both parties. Stop the crazy train! Face facts we have a felon as a president. That did not spend any time in jail or probation.. this tells all of the world you can buy your way out of most legal trouble. I believe in giving second chances after your debit has been paid. And the money spent on campaigns are stupid what it could pay off or help the poverty we have in this country. Stop giving the top 1 percent a big tax break. If you have more that enough to buy an election you need to be paying out the noise in taxes. Grow up and be a real great country that we use to.
