My house gasline isnt even at 2% of what this station will have. I dont go to the Wafflehouse next to one of thes on 29 in Cantonment. By the time you smell gas, WFflehouse burners would ignite it. Cannot fathom why it was put there!

Metering stations are built to high standards and well maintained. Also it’s no more dangerous than the gas lines buried down side or under highways or even the gas that is in your home have a gas leak flip a light switch and it could blow your house up. Meter stations and lines have Dot inspection do your home or business.

Ask what are the risks associated with this at the proposed location? A town’s major intersection without an active traffic control device. Then, add in the mix: public transportation bus stop, courthouse, and a couple of apartment complex buildings. What could possibly go wrong?

Why would the Town Council even consider putting a natural gas station at that location? The Escambia County commission already treat Century like it doesn’t matter. When has the district 5 representative ever held a town hall meeting with the Century residents? I would be willing to bet that most residents don’t even know who represents Century.

High pressure gas station above ground near a public building and apartments. California had an old high pressure gas line explode not to long ago. It wiped out a neighborhood with loss of life.
