I’ve known her for years — she’s always been kind, supportive, and loving to me and my family. She’s a devoted mother and grandmother who made a serious mistake, yes, but she’s also someone who has always been there for the people she loves. None of the nasty comments can speak to the heart she has or the good she’s done for those around her. This doesn’t erase the bad decision, but it also shouldn’t erase everything else about who she is.
