People of Century get off your computers complaining and come to these meetings and voice your opinions. Better still get off your duffs and go to the poll and VOTE. Complaining on northescambia will not get anything done! There is so much negativity about Century and no one is stepping up to do anything about fixing the problems. There is a lot to be done. I don’t have answers but I know gripping about them won’t work!

We DO NOT need another community center!!! Fix the streets! More than 3 streets need help! Repave Jefferson between Hecker and Hwy 4 and repave Briggs and Clancy! Make repairs and upgrades and the ballparks! Fix everything else first!

HERE WE GO AGAIN! everyone knows this was and will always be a meeting place to swap or buy drugs! Y’all have sewer problems, y’all have road problems, y’all still haven’t fixed bridges y’all were already paid to fix. There has been shootings here as well if a town was a crack town this would be the top 10! Also didn’t y’all already get paid to do this once if not twice?

How about fix all the sewer pumps stations in century stop wasting money on a building that not everyone will ever use and how about paving some roads that needs it

That community center sounds like a very wise expenditure of taxpayer money; They spent over half million dollars without buying the first board or nail. This project is but one of many that deserve some attention from State auditors. It also begs the question of ; How many community centers does a town the size of Century need? Maybe Century could borrow one of DOGE investigators for a few days and see where the money really goes.
