I was a teacher for him in the late 1970's. Mr. Smith was always a gracious principal and a joy to work for. In all my years as an educator, no one surpassed Mr. Smith as the kind of principal who gave his teachers the privilege of teaching their students without heavy handed oversight. Thank you Mr. Smith for all you gave to the Century HS community. Sad to hear that Mr. Smith has passed away. I was a teacher for him in the late 1970’s.
