Although Florida citizens voted in support of DST - It still must be approved in Congress on the federal level. Marco Rubio tried unsuccessfully to get it on the Congressional voting list. Given the current animosity toward Florida in general, I seriously doubt this matter will get a floor vote. There is an even smaller chance of it passing.
