I recall a faculty member having an affair, and marrying a SIXTEEN YEAR OLD classmate. He was never charged.????

I do not care what the age of consent is, this is wrong.

To parent is to protect, exercise sound judgment.

Also a very bad decision on the victim’s and her family’s part. A 17 year old girl on spring break traveling to Florida from Texas without sufficient funds to pay for a hotel and other expenses?? And no, I don’t condone a 27 year old man hooking up with a 17 year old- (no negative comments needed) – but a little foresight could have prevented this

This is so sad. That is too near for comfort. I live on this road and we do not need this kind of folks living here. He should not be out on bond. We need tougher laws in the state of FL.
