Yeah as an avid rider, people are ignorant when they hear lane filtering because they don’t know the difference between filtering and splitting. People offer opinions that are uneducated on the topic.

Noyoudidnot – how about you come down off your high horse and get educated for a moment. There is a difference between lane FILTERING and lane SPLITTING. Filtering allows motorcyclists to slowly move to the front of the line at stop lights. Allowing them to be first to take off from a light means they aren’t hidden behind any cars, and are therefore more visible to drivers pulling out of parking lots or side streets. It also provides the opportunity for the motorcyclist to be able to join others like him and multiple bikes together are much easier to see and is much safer. Just because you live a life full of fear and judgment of others choices doesn’t mean you should be so hateful towards people different than you.

Nothing quite like having a motorcycle go blowing by your window while in traffic, no we don’t need lane splitting.
At least he was riding a motorcycle instead of a bicycle. Bicycles should never be allowed on a road. If you can’t do the posted speed limit and pay taxes to upkeep the road and have a driver license and a license plate you don’t need to be on the road.

So many motorcycle accidents , I wish there was an answer to prevent this from happening so often. I do think the flashing headlight helps a little bit however not many are equipped with them I guess cause you hardly ever see them. Some of these really smart inventors should try hard to come up with something.
I pray whoever was on this one will fully recover.

This state NEEDS lane filtering; it reduces collisions with cars by 30%, literally the only thing stopping us is insecure folks being upset someone passes them at a light.
