This thing would be a high pressure so Not a Hurricane of any sort. Agree, changing a generations long logo and team name is just a slap in the face of all who have gone before and those youngsters who hoped to follow in parents footsteps. Wouldn't a name change, such as this, create more costs to rebrand everything associated with the chiefs name? Educating young people on team work, the importance of physical training, along with respect, integrity, and commitment. The Ensley Chief logo and sports program was an icon of the Ensley community. Our athletes won football and cheer championships on a yearly basis. We took young people with a desire to learn and developed them through a community athletic program into competitive and respectful high school athletes. I guess the Ensley Chiefs have gone the wayside, similar to the Washington Redskins and the Cleveland Indians.
