@ Just listening, they are not just sitting around wasting tax payers money, it’s for investigation purposes, but most importantly, for their health allowing them to decompress and process the event. So if we have to spend a little money for their well being, then it’s the best tax payers money spent.

@Just Listening: you are looking at it from just a negative side. An officer utilizing force, especially deadly force, could probably use the break from the stresses of the job to process what happened. Administrative leave not only allows for the investigation to be completed thoroughly but also for that officer to decompress.

Another officer sitting around the office wasting tax payer money and his talent.
Yes he used his weapon – you know that’s what he carries it for! Issued a badge a uniform and weapon to uphold the law. The representative of a law body doing his job.
In times when there should be an authority— a law officer is needed.
HE DID HIS JOB!
