I agree with Bewildered.

Who would like his or her business shut down because a criminal decided to commit a crime there?

Also, imagine the outcry if they told people to leave because they didn’t like their looks.

Cursed if you do, cursed if you don’t.

As an alternative, perhaps the responsible person could be held responsible?

Thanks Bill. Even the reviews of that bar say it’s “a dive…not welcoming…trouble”. It’s location is remote and I would believe anyone who wants to make a quick getaway or hide could do it from there. Someone wasn’t thinking when they permitted this place for a bar. I don’t know who owns it but they need to start packing after that recent shooting.

This is confusing to me. People scream to shut places down. If there is violence at a Walmart – don’t go after the culprits, sue the store for not having enough security! How can a business owner keep undesirable clientele away from a business they may have worked hard for to establish? If they take an aggressive attitude, they risk having civil rights lawyers breathing down their neck, etc.

I believe their liquor license could be at risk due to all the violence. …it could be by the legal requirements of maintaining one. I do not know that it is.

This place had a murder not too long ago. Close it down. It will just get worse.
