I believe hog hunting is legal at all times, just not on the road.

It is that time of year again. Gun shots at night and dead deer dumped along the roadsides. It seems when one group out grows this behavior there are others to fill in and continue with these activities. Years ago, while living in Louisiana, a group of young men were night hunting and shot in the direction of one of my neighbor’s house. The bullet went through two walls and hit the headboard of the bed their child was sleeping in. It hit just inches from their head. These people that hunt at night have no idea nor do they care what or who is in the path of their bullets. They do not realize just how fast their life can change or how their actions can impact the lives others. Like I told my kids growing up, when it comes to guns and cars, there is no redo. Bad decisions can last a lifetime or end one.

What are they doing deer hunting with rifles anyway? Hunting season hasn’t started yet. Same in Alabama, already dead carcasses left and right. Folks who have zero respect for our laws, hope the shooters are found and forced to pay

Isn’t it possible to get fingerprints off of shell casings? It seems that unless someone is wearing gloves when loading the cartridges into a gun or magazine, it would be done using ones fingers? If done while committing a crime, chance are that person probably already has a criminal record and has been previously fingerprinted.

If they were night hunting and couldnt tell the difference in a sign and the deer then the deer are safe.

If they can’t aim any better than that, then both the deer and most signs are safe.
