They must value the importance of this ship entering the US Navy Fleet. However, Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro is under investigation for violations of the Hatch Act which prohibits federal officials from engaging in political activities or partisian speeches while on duty or in official capacity. Because of his position, he will probably only get a minor reprimand whereas if someone farther down the chain does it, they get in big trouble.
