I like the iidea just not the location. Our county is missing out on a golden opportunity! With the Civic center being in the city please someone tell me why it doesn’t make sense to combine the two into ONE! Build a new building on the OLA flying field on 9 mile road that meets everyone needs. Before everyone jumps on the band waggon and complain about the losses and expenses associated with a venue like this please understand research suggests it’s about building something for the community to come together to enjoy and be entertained. Breaking even is a best case scenario!

My comment goes back to an earlier string of responses when this was first published. The original comment mentioned the numerous 2 lane roads that feed this part of Ten Mile Road and questioned what upgrades would be provided to ease traffic problems if this is constructed. My question has to do with the possible widening of Ten Mile Road to support this and is this a back door opportunity to give UWF their back entrance to the Campus that was requested years ago? Normal daily traffic on Ten Mile is bad enough with 3 schools, please don’t add any UWF traffic.

Where is the current Dogpark? Where? Oh the county will be turning the current dogpark at Brosnanham park into overflow parking for new indoor sports complex. I hope this is an oversight or the picture the County released of the new sports building is wrong.

Great way to support our current youth and the community.
The community said yes because the community is smart enough to understand the importance to grow youth sports and to provide a safe indoor facility to practice their craft
