The towing company that responded solely responded because no other company in a tri county area would touch it. There’s no possible way for that trailer to go down the road safely behind a tow truck. The trailer was lifted and placed straight in the street and moved down the road to the shoulder while it was suspended, not touching the ground (to ensure no further damage to the roadway). There are railroad tracks right past where the trailer was placed, the railroad crossing is raised. The trailer was placed on the roadside before the tracks to ensure one problem wasn’t traded for another when it got caught up on train tracks.
