The laziness of drivers is not going to stop. Why expect everyone to check twice when they obviously do not? Take your safety into your own hands and drive a vehicle rather than a motorcycle. It’s not a guarantee, but statisticaly safer. If you drive a motorcycle you accept the risk. I would love to drive motorcycle again, but the average driver is dangerous and I value my life more than my love for excitement. Those that don’t should not complain when this happens. It’s very sad and my heart goes out to all the families.

A lot of speeding, not paying attention and other accusations but I haven’t seen anything yet where anyone considered the driver of the car had a medical emergency.

The 24 year old motorcyclist was my Older brother. His name was Matthew, and my family is completely torn by this incident. To anyone who drives reading this, please, please look twice. Maybe then my brother would’ve arrived home that night.

Sad loss of lives but there had to be some serious speed involved to kill the driver of the car.
Possible the bikes were seen but their speed was underestimated.

I should not have felt forced to give up my motorcycle riding in 2005. But I sold my last bike. I felt after “close calls” it was time to give it up. Too many people not paying close enough attention i felt was gonna be the cause of my death. It wasn’t worth it anymore to me. I still miss riding. Riding is a terrible risk that many still take. I wish all bike riders the best of luck. Of course I’m not saying it’s the riders fault in all accidents. In most crashes its not the riders fault. Many car drivers just don’t care to look twice. People I’ve known personally have been killed while riding & their death was not their fault. That is why I gave up riding.

Prayers for all families involved! People please look twice for motorcycles. Accidents happen but most motorcycle accidents could be prevented by looking twice and just not quick glances.
