I believe Escambia County needs to take Century back. I thought the Mayor hired a company or someone to come in to help him? If I am wrong I am sorry. There is to much going on up there in that small little town that should be growing like Cantonment and Molino. WOW I feel sorry for Century residence. Someone needs to step up and and start a whole new board up there. I am not saying people don’t know what they are doing BUT.

Sounds like the title for a book about the management of Town of Century, Florida.
All dealings under the table or with 4th hand contractors who may be linked to long time friends or family.

What accountability does Century give to prove the grant funds were spent as designated by the grantor?
Is not a proper audit required for grant applications to be approved?
Where is the state’s oversight concerning Century?
Salzman DO NOT cede the investigation, until these questions are answered and governmental transparency is established.

This is similar to a bad sitcom that won’t end. I truly feel for the Citizens of Century… They don’t know what they’re doing either with their votes or actions. Sitting back watching this nonsense go on is monotonous. Now you have the mayor paying Howard Brown a ridiculous amount Century doesn’t even have. I’d be interested to know what Brown has done for his EARNings.
