We could fix the so called war on drugs but our country doesn’t have the stomach for it. Super harsh for penalty for possession (25 years) and life sentences for selling. Would take about 2 years and problem would be solved.

@worried resident, I don’t troll the internet looking for posts to comment on but happen to see this one and the comments and felt like I wanted to make my comment. I wish we couldn’t make any negative comments public to avoid it with anybody or any family. Yes, I’m guilty of comments but I’m not publicly ridiculing someone for it. I’m also not perfect and only my opinion. Yes, I do only pray for those I think need it. Ex: I do not pray for rapists, child molesters, etc. If it’s been you or your family before I am sorry and if it happens in the future I’ll be sure to keep in my prayers unless they meet the criteria I do not pray for above. It’s sad. As long as you have enablers this will continue unfortunately. We are all in this place we feel sorry or feel it’s our responsibility to help them but in reality you are not when you constantly feed into them and give. There are others like her that got her where she is but we won’t name them. Sometimes they need to hit the bottom before they realize it’s time . Sad thing the damage looks like it’s been done. Prayers for the children that have to endure this not once in the family but now twice. Hope for healing a lost soul out of darkness.

It is sad that people allow a desire for a substance to rob them of a life. Yes, this person most likely has a family that cares for them, but in many of these cases the individual has and will most likely refuse help. If this was my family member, I would certainly not be reading the comments. I mostly feel for the family members that have to watch their loved ones destroy their lives. You can offer them help but until they decide to change there is little one can do.

“How would I feel if this were me or my loved ones” needs to be the question everyone asks before posting comments. It can easily be you or your loved ones. You also never know the reasons behind other’s actions or decisions and have no right to judge. You shouldn’t get pleasure from other’s pain. Praying for her infinite recovery and loved ones.
