@JV…I strongly agree with your statement!!! I truly understand having I-10 and Hwy 99 on/off ramps installed will also improve traffic on Hwy 90 around Navy Federal. But I-10 and 9th Ave has needed the same improvements for many decades before this one. Improving I-10 and 9th Ave will definitely improve the traffic flows from Scenic Hwy, Davis Hwy and I-110 locations.

Extend the right turn lane on Pine Forest going past the WAWA to 9 Mile RD. This will reduce the traffic nightmare. I will only require trimming a few oak trees and a minimum amount of asphalt!

I agree with the comments. To give more understanding, state and federal funding have different fiscal start and stop dates to obligate project funding. They most likely had to spend these funds to not lose this project of work. Unfortunately, everything moves slower on the state and federal side. Hopefully they can stick to the proposed timeline.

Yes, please fix Pine Forest especially with the installment of the new stop light at the WaWa that is going to be a nightmare paired with the merge lane. Add the second lane on the north bound side all the way to Nine mile. There is plenty of shoulder for that lane and absolutely no reason not to and every reason to do so.

It always seems they do stuff out of order. Why not build this interchange, which should minimally interrupt traffic flow, first and then do all the work on the Nine Mile/I-10 interchange. It would have alleviated some of the upcoming traffic nigthmare I would think.
