Don’t just talk about it. Provide some useful information for those who don’t know how to look up a contractors license. Florida dpbr. com is the site I used after being scammed by a contractor that fed me a bunch of BS lies. If he wasn’t half way through the project I would have fired him. Believe me I will do my homework from now on.

Also the better business bureau has complaints on file !! obviously you don’t know the channels of checking out if a company has a good or bad reputation in and out of town !! You obviously don’t know where to look so you don’t think it exists!!!!!!

Individuals like him are all over Escambia County.Home owners have to be very careful with who they hire.I pay for all material myself and permit and licenses and insurance must be provided.It may cost you more money so do your homework.These people will never get money back.You can’t get money from someone who doesn’t have any.There needs to be long jail time for these crimes but it won’t happen.Our leaders don’t care if you get ripped off as they are ripping us off everyday with increased fees and taxes.

Well let me tell you from experience…if you got hosed from this guy don’t expect the state or county to help you at all… just look at the banks construction mess…they let that go on for years before he was shut down after he took millions from victims and businesses… they say there is a contractor recovery fund… well that’s a joke also.. you want get crap from them

It would be a rarity for a private individual to conduct a background check; and up until now, a background check wouldn’t have indicated any irregularities.

Must be a good reason why he never got permits or did things through the proper channels !!! Either way he knew he wasn’t supposed to be contracting jobs and doing more damage to the customers project!!! And why didn’t the customer do a background check on this supposedly good contractor!!! At this point this guy will be in big trouble with what he’s done !! Looks like jail time if convicted !!!
