As I was walking down Bluff Springs Road, various drivers would think it would be funny to drive their car at me. I finally decided I was going to put a ball bearing through the windshield right in front of the driver the next time they did it. I only had to draw back a couple of times before they reconsidered. I was just a kid at the time. On the other hand I still feel I was justified. Why should I be the only one to die? I used to carry a 2-in ball bearing myself for that very purpose.
