And just like every time, I’m going to point out that capital punishment is significantly more expensive than life in prison, so defending it as a cost saving method doesn’t make any sense.

Well bewildered, its NOT child pornography. It’s CHILD SEX ABUSE MATERIAL. Saying it’s pornography is wrong. Those babies, toddlers and children didn’t deserve any of that. Those children are likely human trafficked, drugged and repeatedly sold and raped for sickos viewing pleasure. So, NO I don’t think this is a slap on the wrist punishment. Just because “others” think it should be doesn’t make it right. Have the day you deserve.

This comment is NOT based on my personal opinion. Just wondering if our law makers ever considered how lax punishment is for possession of child pornography in Europe and other parts of the world. We are trying so hard to assimilate /- life in prison in the US – and maybe 1 year or zero punishment anywhere else. How can you ever align such a huge discrepancy in determining what is right and wrong
