Until this behavior is associated with harsh and expensive punishment it will continue. Authorities have to spend countless hours and resources fixing the havoc they create and tracking down these clowns. Obviously, they care nothing for the victims and society should return the favor. The design of 9 mile road is going to create more of these accidents with people having to make U turns to turn left in most cases. I have to do it every morning on the west side close to Pine Forest rd. The traffic is so bad coming from the opposite direction I have to sit and wait until I get a slight opening and sometimes hope the guy coming from the direction I need to go slows down. There will be fatalities due to the design of this road. I'd rather have less landscaping in the median and more access for left turns. I was caught up in the backup into Pace both mornings. We know they have cameras facing the street because there was a shooting there eight months ago in the parking lot caught on video.
