What can be done to make the road safer? If necessary lower the speed limit and then have people abide by it! You run off the road when you are going faster than road conditions allow.

@JS …. that road is not dangerous. People driving 75+ mph, texting and driving, distracted driving, etc, is what makes it dangerous to drive on the road. Unless a medical condition, or mechanical issue, contributed to this accident, there is a 100% chance the person driving was speeding or otherwise distracted. That would happen on any road the person was driving on.

I have no clue HOW WHAT OR WHATEVER cab be done on 97 that road is just awful I don’t let any of my family drive on it anymore to many wrecks

We probably need to put a red light at that spot to make sure nobody gets hurt by falling trees !!! I hope the driver is ok
