@Amazing and CDPJR…no, I have never got the guardrail but that’s irrelevant isn’t? I was just stating that if someone who isn’t aware of a road may act differently in their driving. I agree, most drive distracted these days and that could have played a part in this but why chastise someone who could have been injured severely or lose their life. That’s really all I meant but thank you for taking it to another level. No, it’s never the road, bridge or weathers fault. We are responsible…supposed to be…when we get behind the wheel. I’ve said my piece and will not entertain responding again…go strike up an argument with someone else..I don’t post tings just see my name written…js

I’ve driven over that bridge since I was 16 years old sometimes more than once per day and when I was young and stupid, at very unsafe speeds. I’m glad the driver is ok but this bridge gets blamed everytime there’s a wreck. I don’t think it’s the bridge’s fault.

So… BGH2 “you travel this road 2-3 times a day”… How many times a week do you hit the guard rail because of the “bump” 5′ in????
I travel this road several times a week myself, sometimes at a little higher than speed limit, uh hum, and have never hit the guard rail myself because of the bump, or any other reason and neither has the other couple of thousand people the travel it every day. So the bump, the railing, the asphalt or the sun, moon or stars are the reason for someone hitting the guard rail. JMHO.

@amazing…REALLY? Your assumptions sure do tell a lot about how much you may/may not know about that bridge. About 5’ from that sides end of bridge is a bump in the road…you see, I know this as I travel it 2-3 times a day to/from work. I guess it’s easy to sit behind your keyboard and assume you know exactly what happened. You are wasting in your time in your current profession. Maybe you should go into forensics or such..

@Miss Kali….PTL PTL that you are ok. I came up when FD and Ambulance was there. I saw where you hit the guardrail then tire tracks turned into the woods. You sure did take the scenic tour of that roadside. I’m just so THANKFUL to OUR GOD that you are ok. Accidents do happen and that’s all this was. Prayers that you heal up fine.

So then you are admitting to not knowing the boundaries of your vehicle, not having control of your vehicle, not paying attention to the road, or a combination of the three among other things.

I’m sure you’ve also NEVER navigated this bridge before so it must have been surprising! /s

Hello, I am the one that got in that car wreck. I hit the guard rail and my airbags didn’t come out so I was contentiously driving down the bridge and then all of a sudden my airbags popped out and hit me in the head and made me pass out so that being said, I was unconscious when I went into the woods I was conscious when I was on the road after I hit the guard row, I was not speeding. I was going to speed limit. but I walked out of there with little injuries. I am so grateful and God is so good.

What happened was she clipped the guardrail on the west end of bridge, continued traveling for a few seconds then all the airbags deployed while she was in motion. When the airbags deployed, she fell unconscious while still in motion. She regained consciousness as the car came to rest in the woods.
