The congestion that currently exists on Pine Forest Road with all the new apartments and hotels there at I-10 is unacceptable. Now commissioners decide to allow construction of a WAWA and put up another light. I have to go through, what will be 5 lights to get from my home to the interstate, 1-mile. Wow, apparently nobody that works at the county including the “commissioners”, travel that road at anytime during the day. It is the worse mess I have ever seen. It should not take 30 minutes to get to Publix from the interstate from 10:00 a.m. -7:00 p.m., 7 days a week. That is unacceptable. Someone that understands both traffic patterns and signaling needs to be employed at the county. I really am starting to realize that it is not about the citizens of this county it is about the money of this county and how much the county commissioners can bring in and punish the rest of us. We need new leadership that understands what we the citizens need to function in this county on a daily basis. We already struggle with the economy, we should not worry that it’s going to take 2-hours to get 15 minutes up the road. Someone help us and not punish the one’s who live, work and pay taxes here.

I live off West Roberts on Monica Lane, the traffic is terrible on Pineforest from I-10 to West Roberts HWY 29, building nonstop single family homes and apartment buildings, the I-10 – Pineforest intersection is a joke with all the construction allowed AND NO IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE ROADWAYS someone is on the take, just stopping the 18 wheelers and other large trucks from using Pineforest – West Roberts from 9 mile to HWY 29 would help, Dangerous someone is going to killed, both have signs stating NO LARGE TRUCKS, not enforced

Thank you!, much needed! Also, much attention is needed to the intersection at West Roberts and Pine Forest. Busy intersection and very poor visibility. Since we have in the area the stop sigh has be knocked down at least 6 time I recall. The community brick sign was destroyed and the home on the northeast corner has be run into 3 time and the owner had an antique Mercedes for sale and was destroyed by someone who ran the stop sigh. Really need a stop light there.

Thank God for this on West Roberts, It has needed to be widened 20 years ago. My Dulley rides both lines and when passing a Bus, I cringe. there is nowhere to go.

sheriff should watch how many cars goes up in the turning lane. How many wrecks are there. During rush hour
