Over a thousand new apartments being built within two miles of I-110 and pine Forrest rd. I guess we will just have a new parking lot called pine Forrest rd. Infrastructure, who needs it.

Sure would be nice if the spelling of Sharron Lane would get fixed. The road was named after Sharron Doren who lived with her family on the road that bared her name. The brainchildren with Escambia County refuse to fix it even though old deeds on properties on that road show it as SHARRON not Sharon.

I thought the first one was at 9 mile & Beulah Rd. Either way I’m stoked they are coming here they definitely know how it’s done. I work in the Northeast often and I require a Wawa be visible from my hotel or I’m not staying there. We need one at 9 mile & Chisholm Rd . The lot is for sale and it’s the perfect size. As for the animals, I hear ya but you can’t stop progress. When the stores open you’ll forget about the lil furry squatters living rent free and what not rabble rabble rabble……

I’ve had the pleasure of Wawa while visiting my daughter in NJ. Wawa definitely outshines most convenience stores but Pensacola is becoming overbuilt now and it’s purely depressing, becoming dangerous and out of control. The poor wildlife has no place to go. Time to clean up the nasty parts before building palaces around them. What happen to worrying about our environmental issues? Are they just being hidden by buildings? I know a lot of the pitcher plants are built over now. That used to be important. Why not now?

Progress to me would be NOT building anything else. Soon, wildlife will have little, if any, place to live. Driving is already a crowded nightmare.

I agree withTiffany, We are trying to build too many new businesses and new parks without taking care of our infrastructure thatwe already have.pretty soon we’re gonna be in big trouble in this county.
