I have been living right there on Kingsville Road since 1976 and not once have I ever had an issue with the bridge

Yes, the bridge is the same width as it has been all along.

But today’s SUVs & giant “look at me” pickup trucks are huge. They can’t fit in regular parking spaces and routinely hang over the centerline.

And if they are lowered in the rear for that ridiculous “Carolina Squat,” they can’t even see the road in front of them….

It is really hard to believe that so many people get on here to be judgmental. Clearly this was an accident, meaning the individual didn’t mean for it to happen. Surely you have all had accidents…give the person some grace.

The Bridge is narrower at that Point of the Roadway. Try driving in a straight line with the road’s with and when you get to the Bridge, if you keep straight, you’ll hit the Bridge also. It’s a area that needs to be addressed, but it will cost to much money to widen the Bridge to the With of the Roadway.
