We live off Jacks Branch and numerous motorcycles pass daily. Most are driving speed limit but there are a few that travel at very high rates.My husband and often listen waiting for em to wreck. The speed they are traveling it’s just a matter of time. There are lots of side rodes and the folks that live out here usually pull out slowly due to speeding traffic. Log trucks, private vehicle, dump trucks and yes motorcycles. They all speed.

Here we go again. People telling drivers to watch out for bikes. Bikers need to watch out for other drivers as much as drivers watching out for them. I have had bikers split lanes and sometimes pass on the shoulder at traffic lights to avoid sitting in line. I had one biker jump a curb and pass me on the sidewalk. I was making a right hand turn and barely missed him, and the left lane was open. I am not used to watching the sidewalk for traffic coming up behind me. Yes, we all need to be careful, but if you are going to ride a motorcycle then you need to be the one that takes the extra precautions. Most bikers are aware that they are prime subjects to be lost in blind spots and drive appropriately but there are a few that expect everyone to watch out for them. Oh, and the really dumb bikers like to ride without a helmet. Yes, I have owned a motorcycle and rode it for many years.
