A not guilty means that the case wasn't proven beyond a reasonable doubt. A civil trial (lawsuit) would see evidence introduced that could be excluded from a criminal trial. It's highly doubtful that with two "victims" of the alleged impersonation that a plaintiff in this type of civil suit would prevail.
