In most cases, roads are not dangerous. I’m very sorry this happened, and praying for the one in the hospital, and praying for the family of the one that was killed.

Detroit boulevard has become more dangerous since the repaving and repairs.
Traffic speeds down this stretch at least 50mph.
Take extra precautions and diligently check more frequently entering from the side roads.
