We also had 3 orphan coons that my Uncle Aulice McKenzie brought us to raise.As a result my mom (Joe Ann Commings Lamb had a petting zoo for Local bus loads of elementary students. The buses would come, kids would view and play with the animals and play under the pecan trees then eat lunch in the shade. The little coons would run along behind the kids everywhere they went with no issues with bites. It was a fun time. More of this is needed so that our young impressive youth can learn where the food in the grocery stores comes from, that chocolate milk doesn't come from brown cows.
