Love the comments. If we think about it, it being closed might be the best thing for the citizens. They can’t do anything right when it is open, and they can’t do no wrong if its closed. Of course, they are continuing to do business via personal cell phones, breaking the state’s sunshine law every time they do it.

I see some great potential candidates for congress on TOC council and Mayor. They’d fit right in Washington with their attitudes about spending money they don’t have on projects they don’t need.

Well I can understand closing the town hall. It’s simple, the town council, city manager, or mayor, someone had to make the decision, although it may seem drastic it had to happen. With a proposal to vote to spend an additional $34,800 annually for one less than full time employee for “procurement services” something had to go. So close the doors here & call it a staffing shortage. Looks great on paper! When the plans are to pay one person $76.31 an hour with money you don’t have to begin with someone’s gotta make those tuff decisions. You can bet the salaries of the decision makers won’t be cut although it’s clear these decision makers are overpaid. Century is sinking faster than the Titanic.

So what about paying our utility bills? Will late fees be waived if no one is in the office before the 24th to take a payment? Yes, a check or money order could be put in the drop box, but that’s not always an option.
