Until they can prove that cars will continue to move on surrounding roads there should be no new subdivisions! You have to take a meal when you travel on 9 mile now to enjoy sitting in traffic.

I grew up here in Pensacola. From the fifties, sixties and seventies and so forth. I don’t understand why they are building so many town houses, homes, and apartments. I love Pensacola, but it’s getting way to crowded for me. I wish I never left Northern Idaho. I lived on 23 acres of land, surrounded by over eight thousand acres of forest, meadows, and so on. The nine mile rd area is getting very heavy with traffic, and even out where I live now, is starting to get too crowded. Stop the building. Put that money into building places for homeless people, such as our veterans.

The subdivision parcel addressed in this article is already cleared of trees and plotted out & the holding pond is already established! Too late to deny now!
What I want to know is what is planned for the large acreage between this subdivision and directly north of Pine Meadow Vet. They have already purchased and torn down 5 or 6 older ranch type homes that were on large acre plots (directly on Fowler also East of the Shrine Temple). I feel we have more residential apartments / town homes, etc. on the horizon. Wait for it!!!

Just a thought..our infrastructure is already strained and with the discovery of the contaminant PFAS and the current and future federal regulations surrounding it how can Escambia County keep approving all of this development?? Because once Mullins LLC completes construction they are GONE..

UGH ! ! ! Go build stuff in NYC. They seem to love crowding there. Please stop putting stuff in every vacant space you find. You are destroying so much that God made and overwhelming us with man made stuff made with inferior products from China. At least that is how I see it. And, I know I am not the only one. And, we do not need more people here. There is enough traffic here already. I often wonder if people are working or just driving most of the day. UGH ! ! !
