There’s a fraud like this in South AL who takes money to do artwork on buildings and barns and then doesn’t do the work. Buyer beware.

Subiz.org will not tell you if they are a contractor unless they have formed an LLC or incorporated. Myfloridalicense.com will allow you to look them up to see if they have a license with the DBPR. If they are not there….run.

People do your checking, don’t just hire a contractor because he might be a little cheaper. There is usually a good reason for the difference in cost. Having proper license and insurance isn’t cheap but it is mandatory. Ask to see a copy of there license and a COI prior to Contracting them, might save you a lot of head aches. When they take your money and do not do the work, or do partial, or do a bad job you will not have anyway of recouping your loss. I pay a lot out for the cost to stay in business but you as the ones hiring please do your due diligence and request these documents. How many people try and hire these people to build their homes, or do parts of their build just because they were a few dollars cheaper then end up getting burned?

Everyone has to do a better job trying to choose the correct person for the job due to number of dishonest people in this world….I really hate to hear about stuff like this cause it happened to me 4 ago.
