Actually, Lou, it’s your money. And mine. The county doesn’t have any money except for what they take from us. Check your property tax statement. This org now has their own dedicated line item on the property tax bill. And they pull in more per household than the public library system.

And, yes, I’d love to have the chance of voting this out, but too many voters check “yes” on anything that sounds like a good idea to them. Budgets be damned!

DITO @ LOU again i will say – should have been a sales tax on all. not just property buyers / owners. will be hard to do now many hands are in cookie jar now still hopeful something can be done!
