The only time I go to downtown Pensacola is on my way to Joe Patti’s. I was in Mount Airy,NC. this past Oct. free parking anywhere.

I’d like to know where the money is going to. I work downtown and cant hardly drink My coffee because of how bad the roads have gotten, plus having to dodge manhole covers on East Gregory St.

In the old days, you put a quarter in the meter. Now, you download an app, set up an ID and password, authenticate account with phone, link it to your credit card, scan a QR code, and answer a few questions to park. AND, if you park in Gulf Breeze, there’s a different app, account, etc.

After receiving two tickets when I paid to park on the phone over the last year, I am done going downtown Pensacola. As a frequent diner at upper end restaurants, we go right on by Pensacola to beach or orange beach. Put cash meters back and problem solved.

My first ticket I got I downloaded my payment 3 times I thought payment was made. Got back to my car had a ticket. $10.50. I paid right then. Second time I parked same place downloaded my payment went about my business No ticket when I got back to my car. 2 months later I get a nasty $40 ticket in the mail. I tried calling the parking police no answer so I left a voicemail. I paid the ticket but I still haven’t heard back from the lady in charge. I’m not coming back downtown. Apparently you kiosks doesn’t work.

Parking is too expensive downtown!
Just to go eat at a nice restaurant costs 15-20 extra dollars. Paying taxes isn’t enough, they gotta get more money every time you want to go downtown.
The roads are still bad and homeless laying everywhere are worse not better so don’t tell us it goes to infrastructure.
