Very curious timing for such a professional move. Some would interpret this as a lateral career move, others would view it as a demotion. If he were younger I would lean latter, but I suspect the former. But alas, he is on record for saying 2020 presidential election was the most bestest awesome secure election in the history of elections.

I’ve been a poll worker for over 10 years now and if you support keeping this position with a qualified professional like we’ve had for the last few decades, please send an email to the Governor’s Office supporting Sonya. I don’t know why this is a partisan position but we’ve been very lucky to have fair professionals in charge for a long time.We are very lucky to have the staff we have in Escambia County and that’s a reflection of the people in charge.

Having been a poll volunteer for about 8 years, I can say that Mr. David Stafford was friendly, professional and very efficient..I wish him more success in his future assignments..also I would highly recommend, Sonya Daniels,, Mr.Stafforf’s right hand person as his replacement.

Maybe Dave Murzin would do good in the office, but I would rather have someone who has worked in the office already and knows the system. I hope the Governor goes with David’s recommendation.

Sonya Daniels is the best person for the job. She knows the job inside and out.
