That is much too fast and merciful. We want them to spend the rest of their lives in prison, thinking about what they did, never getting to enjoy the joys of life “on the outside”. WE have to suffer every day for the rest of our lives because of what these evil people did. Why should they be allowed to have such an easy and quick end? We would gladly work every day for the rest of our lives to pay for their incarceration. Our suffering is slightly alleviated by their captivity, but it would be greatly increased to know that they were not going to suffer as long as we are! @Mike J.,

So instead of a quick execution and speedy resolution for the family of the deceased, the family suffering continues and taxpayers have to fund his housing, medical, food, and security for the next 40 years!
