The cop was behind him on the highway and he lost sight of Man Man when Man Man turned right at the light. The cop was still by Whataburger parking lot when Man Man turned. So im assuming the cop also made a right and that’s when Man Man was under the impression the cop was gonna pull him over and he started speeding up in hopes to get away. The officer was probably just driving his regular daily observation route and had cut on his blue lights after he noticed that Man Man was speeding aka trying to escape. It all fell into play by chance. They was not targeting Man Man.

But why were the police following him? The article says they saw him, then they didn’t, then they did again and turned the lights and sirens on, so…why were they following him? No mention was made of speed or careless driving until he hit the bridge, lol. Just wondering what started the whole thing
