Being an employee, of Navy Federal, I was able to attend the event today at the new Recreation Center. The facility is amazing!!! Be assured that when Navy Federal does anything it is going to be first class. I am so proud to be a part of such a wonderful organization that truly cares about it’s members, employees and the community. Thank you, Navy Federal, for this facility and for all of the other things that you do for the community. Congratulation on 20 years! I look forward to seeing more of the wonderful things this company will do.

Navy Federal seems to be a good match for Pensacola. This recreation proj=ect seems to be a good fit for the community, but I, for one, have bad memories of how the LBC 4-H Camp was taken from the 4-H community at only a small piece of the pie of monies spent developing that area.
It took an awful lot of hard energy by those of us Escambia 4-H supporters to even connivence those that took over the monies from the sale of the property, Florida Extension ,Gainsville to finally connivence them to build a new facility. It doesn’t have the lake, the cabins or other amenities that LBC had and Gainsville took control of the 3.6 million in revenues for other uses. 3.6 mil was only a drop in the bucket for what was spent on OLF-8. Escambia 4-H lost out big time for these NFCU amenities. NFCU owes Escambia 4-H for their success and should make amends!
