To Robert’s family, I am so sorry for your loss! Robert was in my youth group at Ensley First Assembly of God back in the 70’s. He was an amazing young man! I saw the real Robert with a giant, kind heart. A kind, gentle soul! If only people could have seen him as he was not for the problems he was going through. I’ll always remember that young man with love!

I’m so sorry to hear of Robert’s passing. I’d known him since I was 10 years old and used to play with his nephews at his parents’ house. He and my older brother were friends, and I was the irritating little sister, but he was always sweet to me. As an adult, he was like a big brother, always checking to make sure I was good. My condolences to the family. You’re in my prayers.
