My grandmother wouldn't press charges against her abuser. One day he shot and killed her and then turned the gun on himself. I wish she had listened to family and gotten out of the relationship. Those being abused believe they can change the abuser. I hope and pray these people don't suffer the same fate that my grandmother did. This story hits home for me.
