He assaulted a staff member, why did he not have to go to a outside hospital for treatment for injuries he sustained for assaulting a staff member. The old days you didn't have issues like this because the inmates knew there would be severe consequences for their actions. There are no consequences for their actions now because the inmates have more rights than the staff. The whole prison system needs to be reformed. Let it go back to how it use to be. Where there was consequences. A time where the inmates wasn't coddled. A quite and orderly confinement is a happy confinement. Untie the hands of the correctional officers and let them do what has to be done to control evil. There are evil ones incarcerated and they are the ones who cause problems and assault staff.
