…so let’s try something new. If our prisons are failing to rehabilitate people (which seems to be the case, given their high rate of recidivism), then maybe we should look at prison reform instead of just shrugging our shoulders and accepting that this is the best that we can do.

The US has the largest incarcerated population in the world. No other country has as many prisoners as we do.

Imagine if we spent half as much effort rehabilitating and asking why people commit crimes instead of just “locking them up and throwing away the key”.

They need to lock him up and throw away the key. He has been arrested dozens and dozens of times, is trespassed from several local businesses in Molino, but still threatens women at the gas station. But they keep letting him out to reoffend over and over again.

There is a reason people run.. Maybe they dont want to get caught.. But in the long run its the only time they can get help. Addiction is hard and with the super strong drugs flowing across the …………………. Its getting worse.
