Also Hwy 29North, starting the Red light in Molino has been needing to be repaved for a very long time also. Remember Hwy 29 is also used for vacuation during huricane season. It was stated that Schaag was in more need according to their scoring system (aka “who you know deal”). When I look at these list and I don’t see Quintette road even considered, I know I’ll be looking forward to the next election. “Really” Becks lake ahead of much needier roadways. Glad to see narrow Hwy 196 (Barrineau Park east) is finally being considered at the August 3rd county commissioners meeting. The school bus driver stated that she has to get out in the grass when she passes dump trucks or lose her mirrors. I’m sure Quintette rd will come up at the meeting and I guess the response will be it wasn’t as needy as Becks lake road according to the scoring system. Wow!! Those posted signs are NOT the MINIMUM speed, folks. Those signs indicate the maximum speed; slow down, and I GUARANTEE the roads are wide enough!
