Praying for your situation as I feel the pain in your message. There are really good childcare facilities where the employees love the children like their own. Keep that in mind. If possible, make unannounced visits at various times to see how things are going. If you aren’t able to maybe a friend or family member can do this for you. Any legitimate facility will welcome this and it sounds like you are sending your child to one. Also, I am sure they have cameras in places throughout the whole building. Make a connection with other parents bringing their children and compare notes. I hope this helps and all goes well for you and your child.

IF this goes to trial and this woman is found GUILTY and Sentenced to Prison Time, not the ‘jail’, it is my hope she is housed with other women who are Mothers and separated from those kids they love and miss. Perhaps they can educate and remediate this woman in what it means to harm and abuse a Mother’s child.

This is horrible. My child suppose to start Head Start next month. I’m so scared for him. I am a single mom and we are really having a hard time financially. The only way we can get better is if I get to work more, otherwise I would never send my baby there. I tried all of the pre-schools in our town and cities near by and on the waiting list in all, but where we live there is a severe shortage of spaces, and if you are single mom, your kids are on the bottom of the list as your household id marked financially unstable. Head Start is the only place they have an open spot form my child and it would really save us if I could work normal hours while he is in pre-school. But I am so afraid to send him there after all of the news about physical and sextual abuse in Head Start around the country. I’m so scared for my baby. I just don’t understand how there could be such evil people to harm innocent toddles, they are so small, it’s pre-school age. This is horrible. And then this teacher doesn’t even get proper punishment, she just gets to go home after $5000 bond. $5000 is what is worth now to abuse a 3 year old little child, who can’t even tie their own shoes yet. I can’t stop crying right now, this is painful, it needs to be changed. No baby should ever be hurt like this, no parents should have to worry about their child in the hand of pre-school or day care. This should be handled on federal level.

Wow it is a shame parents can’t work b.c of these kind of people…when my were young I only would let family watch them but I’m sure the parents have no choice but to use these places
.. if I owned one of these places I would watch the video everyday and weed these monsters out

The video is very important especially when you go to court !!! Because at that point ya better hope they offer you a plea deal because ya gonna need one !!! If you refuse that ya probably going to a place called jail for a while !!! Kick ya feet up you gonna be there a good while !!!

As a person whose taught all ages and had 3 children of my own. They are are grown, I miss them everyday. If you have a troubled child they just need extra love and hope in this horrible world- This breaks my heart I want to kick her in the leg and slam her on a sleep mat/

What is this world coming to when you have to worry about how your child is treated at a daycare, school,etc. I will never understand why anyone would ever remotely think about harming an innocent child. You are seeing this more and more in these facilities. It’s going to get to the point where noone will feel comfortable putting their children in these types of facilities.SMH
