I was coming home from work 2a one night, on HWy 29, no cars on the road, This semi came up behind me rather fast and I was doing eh 60ish, he came around me the cut into my lane real close so I had to slow down. He then start driving 50, so I went around him, as I was going around him. He started “swerving” like he was gonna come into my lane but wouldn’t. I got in front of him. Rinse and repeat the same scenario above until I got to the Tom Thumb and stopped. This had happened from Neese’s auto salvage to Tom Thumb. When I turned off to pull into Tom Thumb for public lit area safety, he kept going north but was switching from lane to lane until he was out of sight. I keep saying “he” but it could have been Jeepers Creepers for all I know or The Night Flier. haha

Should have the answer soon. Hit every car lot. Ask what cars they had come in. If it was either of those two then get the bill of laden and there ya go

Truckers are less dangerous than people in cars that can’t put their phones down, tailgate, or cut trucks off. Truckers will not rear-end you if you don’t cut them off and then slow or stop . Truckers are required to scan the road one quarter of a mile ahead of them. They see you if you’re obeying traffic laws. Yes, there are “seat warmers” out there that should not be driving trucks. However, to say that all Truckers are dangerous is wrong.

Trucks have mirrors that they can see beside them. This trucker was in the wrong if he/she didn’t use the safety equipment available on the vehicle. I hope the lady is going to be OK. I hope the police find the driver of the truck and give tickets for what he/she did. Or more.

I was a truck driver. I always checked every mirror before changing lanes or turning. But my biggest fear was always that there was someone in my blind spot and I don’t see them even after the lane change. It’s just the physics. A warning to drivers when on the road, stay back. Don’t coast alongside a truck or bus, or any vehicle. If you need to pass, do it. If you find yourself in an unsafe position, slow down and let the other vehicle pass. It won’t hurt you to be delayed a few seconds.

There is a large blind spot in those big trucks.When passing you want to get clear asap. Chances are he never even saw her.Hope she has a speedy recovery.

Semi trucks do have a blind spot. The drivers aren’t always careful so I’m always looking to get away from them in traffic when it’s safe, never stay next to them unless I’m at the cab and can see the driver and try to stay behind them rather than in front for fear they may rear end me. Truckers are necessary but dangerous.
