Citizen. I’m certain it wasn’t “talk” that prompted the officer to defend himself. The story includes an altercation that led to the officer being injured. I don’t know all of the circumstances around this but I do support an officer defending themselves, up to and including deadly force, if they’re attacked. Are there bad cops? Certainly. Are there bad civilians? Yes. I’ve always found the officers I’ve interacted with to be good people, then again I don’t act the fool when approached by them.

what a stupid act. answer the questions asked by law enforcement officers and you won’t get shot. all this over a hit and run.
